Reverend Joel Hernandez

Reverend Joel Hernandez is the dedicated Senior Pastor of a vibrant, multicultural, and multigenerational church in Nassau County, NY. With 38 years of marriage to his loving wife Lydia, Joel cherishes time with family, including children and grandchildren. A proud American and lifelong NY Yankees fan, Joel’s passion extends beyond his congregation.

Through his leadership, Joel has spearheaded impactful community initiatives, including operating a food bank during the COVID lockdown and organizing Hope Day, an annual festival providing food, clothing, health screenings, and gifts to those in need. He also ministers to incarcerated individuals, hospital patients, and nursing home residents, sharing hope and faith through Jesus.
